Company and working position

She is employed at the Faculty of Sports in Ljubljana, at the swimming department

She is currently chair of the mass activities committee of the Swimming Association of Slovenia

She is a head trainer for training instructors of swimming at the Swimming association of Slovenia

Brief curriculum – professional life

She used to be a competitive swimmer, then she has been a swimming coach for 10 years in Ilirija swim club, which was a national champion by that time. She studied at The Faculty of Sports in Ljubljana. She took a job as the professor of sporty education at the primary school for blind and partially sighted, later she did the same job in high school. Since 1993 she has been employed at The Faculty of Sports in Ljubljana, where che finished her Masters degree in 1997 and in 2000 she has finished her Doctoral degree. She works in The department of swimming. At The Swimming Association of Slovenia she conducts recreational programmes in the water and their trainings. She trains teachers and coaches of swimming and teachers for swimming of babies and toddlers. She is also a member of Natiomal Examininig Board for swimming and water rescuing.

Results of work

She was a pioneer of baby swimming in Slovenia. She wrote a program and a book on baby and toddler swimming entitled Plavanje od rojstva do šole (Swimming from your birth until school)

She is author and co-author of many books and articles, among which special attention is paid to the first e-book in Slovenia on swimming methodology.

Interests and hobbies
