Brief curriculum – professional life

Basia Szpak-Borst TCM Practitioner,(Acupuncture Tuina and herbs), Certified Watsu Instructor , NATSTA member for the last 19 years, she specializes in aquatic training programs. Certified Assistant Hsing I and Pakua instructor with NATSTA. Szpak Borst has been studying the martial arts for 25 years. Founder of Watsu Orphans she is interested in creating volunteer clinics and projects using energy work and water. Szpak Borst has a private practice in The Netherlands and teaches Watsu Spa Provider and Couples Watsu internationally. She offers us useful information in her book about Early Infant Aquatic Education called ‘Fluid Beginnings’. She completed Advanced Craniosacral Therapy and Pediatric CST. Szpak-Borst introduced Watsu to Japan, trains the staff of Spas and was a leader in its inception in healthcare market in USA.

Acupuncture BodyHealth Clinic provides Integrative Aquatic Therapy sessions to help heal Prenatal and Birth Trauma ,as well as training themes for groups and companies with events or retreats.

Results of work

She regularly offers courses in Aquatic Bodywork such as Watsu, Aqua Doula, Couples Watsu and the Spa Provider Program.

She wrote the book „Fluid Beginnings“ based on her research with early aquatic interventions for infants 0-6 months.

Interests and hobbies

She loves hot springs, travelling, and she is a big fan of figure skating.

She is interested in non profit clinics to help others.
